Location: St. Louis/Cahokia, IL | Pay Rate: $33.81/hour | Schedule: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 2am)

At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re hiring a Senior Cabinet Maker to produce top-tier cabinetry for aircraft interiors. Your work won’t just be functional — it will define the look, feel, and quality of some of the most advanced aircraft in the world.
 
About the Role
This position is ideal for a highly skilled cabinet maker who can fabricate complex wood-surfaced subassemblies and guide less experienced team members. Working under general supervision, you’ll be trusted to produce with precision, mentor peers, and ensure projects meet the highest standards of quality, design, and safety.
 
What You’ll Do Fabricate high-quality furniture and cabinetry using a wide range of woodworking tools and techniques. Interpret engineering drawings and material specs to produce components that meet exact design requirements. Lead by example on the shop floor, assisting with task delegation, mentoring junior technicians, and supporting team productivity. Champion safety, 5S principles, and Lean Six Sigma improvements. Use digital systems for part tracking, sign-offs, and workflow documentation. Adapt to schedule changes while maintaining excellence under pressure. Support other backshops and departments when needed. Perform shop audits, maintain equipment, and assist in updating JSAs.  
What You Bring
Required: High School Diploma or GED Minimum of 4 years of cabinetmaking experience Strong working knowledge of woodworking tools and advanced cabinetmaking processes Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English Basic computer skills Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, climb ladders and stairs, and work in confined areas and any shift Valid Driver's License Required Preferred: Aerospace industry experience Familiarity with Company specifications and inspection processes Experience with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement initiatives

Pay Details: $33.81 per hour
