P&W is seeking an F135 on-site Fleet and Asset Manager at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), OH facility as part of the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) Lightning Sustainment Center (LSC) (aka Operations Center) within the Fleet Readiness & Sustainment (FR&S) Team.

 This direct leadership role manages a team of ~6 and is the embedded, direct liaison to the JPO LSC Customer.  This role requires a high-degree of integration capabilities as primary area of responsibilities include cross-functional, internal and external collaboration and alignment of fleet sustainment and asset management recommendations through the JPO LSC FR&S team.   As part of the Asset Management scope, this position leads the team responsible for F135 Assets & Logistics, ensuring availability and readiness of the world’s most advanced fighter engine with around-the-clock support and integration across all disciplines of the value stream.

What You Will Do:

Deliver real-time fleet management recommendations and performance outcomes in various forums to the FR&S leadership team. Engage with FR&S Operations Center personnel on critical propulsion issues pertaining to warfighter readiness.Coordinate and collaborate with JPO FR&S fleet management cell at WPAFB. Drive customer input at Industry Customer Support Integrated Product Team (CSIPT) and Integrated Sustainment Management Team (ISMT) forums; recommend solutions to ongoing and emerging issues.Collaborate with In-Service / Customer Service Engineering; provide customer input into fleet management plans with an emphasis on customer priorities.Team with JPO FR&S Supply Chain, Maintenance and Operations center personnel to align strategy and customer focus.Consolidate input to and attend the weekly FR&S performance meeting chaired by FR&S leadership team. Be prepared to provide insight into the full breadth of Propulsion topics affecting readiness.Understand and provide input to leadership on overall engine and module product support, modification efforts and configuration management activities.Monitor Non-Mission-Capable aircraft impacted by Propulsion availability and align Industry-Government teams on customer priorities.

Additional Responsibilities:

Leadership and execution of F135 Asset Management activities for unit level, depot level and deployed material distribution of spare F135 Engines and Modules to include repairable asset pipeline activities, supply asset forecasting, and global inventory optimizationSustainment Program Management (SPM) cross functional integration of aftermarket services to include Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul & Upgrades as well as Supply and LogisticsManage F135 Engine and Module availability for Afloat Spares Packages (ASP) and Deployed Spares Packages (DSP) to support the required readiness levels at the specified locations identified in the Annual Sustainment contractSupport P&W F135 Global Operations Center activities in providing daily management, status, and closure of issues impacting fleet availability and readiness metrics.Control Account Management (CAM) for F135 Asset Management labor

Qualifications You Must Have:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, logistics or management disciplines required.A minimum of 10 Years of experience in fleet management/readiness support; OR an advanced degree and 7+ years of experience in fleet management/readiness supportAt least 5 years of managerial, supervisory and leadership experience required.The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. Active security clearance is strongly preferredU.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Excellent presentation skills, project management proficiency in F135 fleet sustainment processes, and strong leadership skills are essentialBe experienced in, and be comfortable with, working directly with the Customer in a high pressure, fast-paced environmentExperience in leading people and/or projects in a highly matrixed environment exercising capabilities for collaboration, conflict resolution and alignmentPrior experience working with the military at the O-5/O-6 (GS-14/15) level highly desiredSelf-starting, motivated, able to manage projects through to completion

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
