Position Statement
The Türkiye region within Hilton Supply Management is responsible for creating and managing strategic contracts for the provision of Food & Drinks (F&D) to all managed properties and those franchise and third-party hotels signed to Hilton Supply Management agreements. Primary responsibilities will be overseeing the entire procurement process and HSM competitiveness, which will include the procurement of F&D categories within the Türkiye region.
Position SummaryTo plan, organize, direct, and control the Purchasing and Supply Management functions for all F&D products and services within the specified functional Area for Hilton. Ensuring that the established level of quality products and services are purchased at the lowest total cost while adhering to Hilton standards and operating procedures, operational need / specifications, purchasing best practice, and working with the Supply Management team to achieve these aims.Direct supervision and management of reports as detailed.Working with and representing the Purchasing function with key stakeholders such as Finance & Operations.To provide functional and operational management to any corporate or cluster purchasing teams based in the area and to provide support as required, to hotel – based purchasing resources across the area.To ensure that all procurement tools (such as Birchstreet, Coupa Smart Spend ) are implemented and maintained.
Provide effective management to F&D Buyer.Strategic Procurement & Business Operations 55%Lead local and national tenders within the F&D category.
Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers at local and national levels.
Conduct price comparisons and ensure competitive pricing for M/L, franchised properties and 3rd party hotels.
Maintain supplier data and pricing in procurement systems (e.g., Birchstreet, Coupa Smart Spend).
Ensure implementation and compliance with national, pan-European, and global agreements.
Monitor supplier performance and product/service quality.
Stay informed on relevant procurement laws and regulations.
Support the growth and implementation of Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) initiatives.
Organisational activities 20%Report directly to National Procurement Manager (NPM)
Report on a monthly/or weekly basis to the NPM of current system status, needs of the properties or concerns regarding the suppliers’ performance and products’ quality
Report achievements and results regarding contract negotiations, tenders and other savings in Coupa Smart Spend
Act as the primary liaison between the regional procurement leadership and hotel operations, ensuring seamless communication and alignment of procurement goals.
Address supply challenges and ensure timely resolution with suppliers.
Ensure to receive as much as possible information about local needs and issues.
Ensure follow-up of consistence item handling internally.
Communicate procurement updates and agreements through internal meetings and channels.
Foster strong relationships with hotel leadership and departments (e.g., GMs, DOs, Finance).
Strategic Development & Compliance 20%Lead the development and implementation of procurement strategies across the F&D category, ensuring alignment with brand standards and supplier compliance.
Provide strategic guidance to hotel teams on F&D supplier selection, product specifications, and cost optimization opportunities.
Regularly review and rationalize the list of nominated F&D suppliers.
Be aware of and apply Hilton purchasing, financial and environmental policies, CSR and ESG activities.
Ensure hotel teams are informed about nominated suppliers and purchasing policies.
Develop and maintain constructive and cooperative relationships with all internal and external stakeholders/personnel whether in person or via telephone
Human Resources 5%
Provide effective leadership and development to the F&D Buyer.
Motivate and guide team members to achieve high performance and enhance soft skills.
In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform supportive duties as assigned from time to time, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the requirements of the company or departmental objective.
Required QualificationsComplete knowledge of F&D purchasing procedures and supply chain.
Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement processes.
Demonstrated competence to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks to completion “hands on”
Proficiency in sourcing applications and MS Office Suite.
BA/BS/Bachelor's Degree or experience in lieu thereof.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, manage multiple priorities and deliver results.

Preferred QualificationsExperience in deployment strategies, change management, application support and/or process improvement
Prior experience in the hospitality, food services, leisure, or retail industries
Functional knowledge of various global back-office systems (e.g. BSS, NAV, PSFT, Sun, Navision)
MS/MA/Master's Degree or experience in lieu thereof
Business fluency in Turkish and English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus
International or national experience
