Job DescriptionManage all facets of cafeteria operations, including menu planning, food preparation, inventory control, and customer service, ensuring high standards of quality and cleanliness are maintained.Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of events hosted at the facility, ranging from corporate meetings and conferences to weddings and social gatherings.Direct daily operations across various departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, security, and front desk, to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery.Develop and implement strategic plans, policies, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency, enhance guest satisfaction, and maximize revenue opportunities.Lead and mentor a diverse team of staff members, providing training, guidance, and support to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.Monitor financial performance and budgetary compliance for all operational areas, identifying areas for cost savings and revenue enhancement.Oversee facilities management activities, including maintenance, repairs, renovations, and capital improvement projects, to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the property.Foster positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and pricing.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory requirements, conducting regular inspections and audits to maintain compliance.Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in operations and service delivery.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Proficiency in relevant software applications, including property management systems, event management software, and Microsoft Office suite.Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support operational requirements.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Hospitality ManagementMinimum of 12-15 years of progressive experience in hospitality management, with a strong background in cafeteria, events, operations, and facilities management within the hotel industry.Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively leading and developing teams to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.Proven financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and drive profitability.Comprehensive knowledge of hospitality operations, including food and beverage service, event planning, housekeeping, maintenance, and guest services.
