The F&B Marketing Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping the social media identity of Waldorf Astoria Kuala Lumpur’s Food & Beverage portfolio. This position is the point of contact for all things social, including Online Reputation Management, content, strategy, and the daily upkeep of active social media channels. This position blends strategic vision with creative execution, ensuring our restaurants, bars, and lounges are brought to life across digital platforms through compelling, brand‑aligned storytelling. By curating content that highlights our culinary artistry, mixology innovation, and signature guest experiences, the role will drive awareness, engagement, and lasting loyalty among both local and international audiences.

What will I be doing ?

Content Creation & StorytellingIncorporating F&B social media content creation and storytelling into the hotel’s overall marketing strategyDevelop and execute creative content (photo, video, copywriting) that highlights menus, promotions, events, and guest experiences.Curate visually striking and brand-consistent assets for Instagram and other relevant platforms.Collaborate with chefs, mixologists, and the F&B team to capture authentic behind-the-scenes stories.Social Media Strategy & ManagementSetting up and managing the hotel’s F&B social media accounts and replying to guests’ comments and reviews in a timely manner.Design and implement monthly content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns and seasonal activations.Monitor performance metrics, analyze engagement, and adjust strategies to maximize reach and impact.Ensure all content reflects Waldorf Astoria’s luxury positioning and tone of voiceFollow enterprise and brand guidelines and best practices to optimize the hotel’s F&B social media presence, while paying close attention to legal guidelinesEnsuring all negative TripAdvisor reviews are responded to and providing respective departments with operations insights.Being aware of communications from the Hilton Social Team when it comes to crisis communications, announcements and social media recommendationsCommunity EngagementActively manage online communities, responding to comments, messages, and guest feedback with warmth and professionalism.Build relationships with influencers, media partners, and brand collaborators to amplify visibility.Campaigns & ActivationsSupport F&B launches, special events, and collaborations through targeted social campaigns.

Coordinate with PR and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across channels.

What are we looking for :

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.Proven experience (3+ years) in social media management and content creation, ideally within hospitality, luxury, or F&B.Strong photography, videography, and editing skills; proficiency with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent.Excellent writing skills in English (additional languages are a plus).Deep understanding of social media trends, analytics, and platform algorithms.Creative, detail-oriented, and able to balance luxury brand standards with innovative social media storytelling.Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality.A true foodie who loves to explore new bars and restaurants, bringing fresh inspiration into content creation.Strong aesthetic sense and ability to translate brand values into engaging content.Creative thinker who goes beyond the obvious, finding new and innovative ways to promote our outlets.Collaborative spirit, comfortable working with chefs, bartenders, and cross-functional teams.Agile and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
