**Job Description**
The Deputy Manager is a leadership role that supports the Director in overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and management of an organization, department, or team. The Deputy Director is responsible for providing guidance, leadership, and expertise to ensure the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Strategic Planning and Leadership** * Collaborate with the Director to develop and implement strategic plans, goals, and objectives.* Provide leadership and guidance to teams, departments, or organizations to achieve strategic objectives.* Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
2. **Operational Management** * Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficient use of resources, and effective top level management of budgets, personnel, and operations.* Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve operational efficiency.* Monitor and analyze performance metrics to inform decision-making.
3. **Program Management** * Develop, implement, and manage programs, projects, or initiatives to achieve organizational objectives.* Ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.* Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.
4. **Team Management and Development** * Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities.* Foster a positive and transparent work environment.* Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop high-performing teams.
5. **Communication and Collaboration** * Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, and external organizations.* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to advance organizational objectives.* Collaborate with other departments, teams, or organizations to achieve shared goals.
6. **Risk Management and Compliance** * Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, laws, and organizational policies.* Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential impacts.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
1. **Education** : Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, management, public administration).
2. **Experience** : Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a leadership or management role, preferably in a similar industry or organization.
3. **Skills** :* Strategic planning and leadership* Operational management and program management* Team management and development* Exceptional Communication and collaboration skills* Risk management and compliance* Analytical and problem-solving skills
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Prior F-35 experience
+ PMP certification
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification and experience
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
