Job Description: Senior Full Stack Engineer (React + Java)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer with a strong emphasis on frontend development using React.js and solid backend expertise in Java. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in building scalable, performant web applications across the stack. This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end features, mentoring junior developers, and driving engineering excellence. Familiarity with Python is a plus, especially for scripting, automation, or data-driven features.

 

Responsibilities

Your technical responsibilities:

Design and implement complex, responsive, and accessible UI components using React.js, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks. Build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks). Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver new features. Optimize full-stack applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high standards of code quality and test coverage. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Integrate with RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, ensuring robust data flow and error handling. Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices for seamless deployment and monitoring. Stay updated with the latest trends in frontend and backend development, and evaluate new tools and technologies for adoption.

 

Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in full stack development with a strong focus on React.js and Java. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil. Solid understanding of unit testing and integration testing using tools like Jest, React Testing Library, or JUnit. Strong backend development experience with Java, including frameworks like Spring Boot. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL. Good understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and API integration best practices. Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards (WCAG). Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Docker or Kubernetes. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in agile teams.

 

Good to Have Skills

Experience with Next.js, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), and Static Site Generation (SSG). Familiarity with Python for scripting, automation, or data processing tasks. Exposure to microservices architecture and API gateways. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Knowledge of authentication/authorization mechanisms such as OAuth2, JWT, or OpenID Connect. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
