What you will do:
As an extrusion technician, you will take responsibility for running their extrusion line to produce quality products efficiently. This includes equipment set-up, tooling inspections, product inspections, and process monitoring.
Under general supervision, operate machinery and inspect machined components using precision measuring equipment while keeping accurate production records and maintenance logsAdhere to site specific quality systems and processes Identify and accurately record scrap, maintenance requests, and production documentsOperate simple manufacturing equipment, demonstrate machining/mechanical aptitude, and learn new responsibilities and tasks as needed Train others on operational and/or documentation procedures as needed Identify and appropriately report safety concerns, production issues, and documentation errors Assist execution of continuous improvement projectsEffectively collaborate with peers, functional departments, and visitors of StrykerWhat you need:
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED 1+ years relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:
Experience with extrusion or medical manufacturingAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents#INDGQO
