Summary: Seeking an Extrusion-Process Technician with experience in polymer industry, profile extrusion, and injection molding to support sample preparation and operation of extrusion and injection molding lines.
Job Requirements:
At least 3 years of experience in the polymer industry
Knowledge of profile extrusion, including line operation and die/sizer design fundamentals
Experience with injection molding, including machine operation and mold design
Familiarity with plastics testing and analysis
Basic computer skills
Job Responsibilities:
Prepare scintillator samples for light yield measurement
Prepare coating samples for reflectivity measurements
Measure samples using existing system and record data in Excel
Support operation of the extrusion line, assisting in running the line and QC of parts
Support operation of the injection molding process, assisting in running the molder and QC of parts
Pay Details: $18.00 to $24.00 per hour
