Description

Set up and run two foam extrudersInterpret specifications and assure finished parts meet customer expectationsUse calipers, tape measures, rulers, OD tape measures and other measuring devicesSet up computerized blending systems to match recipe requirementsDirect assigned packaging associates on quality items to look for and pieces per boxShow packers how to interpret the specification sheetRecord and document extruder and finished parts dataSet up and run downstream equipment including Fly Knives, Puller, Conveyors, etc.Operate glue application equipmentSet up and operate printers and label applicators as requiredSet up and operate support equipment for extruderCommunicate any issues to lead operatorOperate a forklift occasionallyWear cut-proof gloves when working around/handling materials that need to be cutUse only assigned utility knivesChange work orders in the controller every time a new work order/product starts

Additional Skills & Qualifications

2+ years of experience with extrusion processesAttention to detailAbove average math and communication skillsAverage computer skillsGood time management skillsAbility to read and interpret product drawings (spec sheets)Ability to read and interpret digital calipersAbility to work overtime, weekends, and other shifts temporarily if necessary

Shift:

2nd shift- 3pm - 11pm

3rd shift- 11pm- 7am

Pay Rate: $19/hr
