Job Title: 1st Shift Lead Machine Operator up to $27/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Lead Machine Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery, ensuring high-quality production of finished products, and adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor machinery to produce and package finished products, ensuring correct quantities.Detect and address quality defects to maintain product standards.Prevent contamination in the work area and maintain cleanliness of equipment.Peel and grind plastic materials as part of the production process.Follow instructions from lead personnel and assist other line operators as needed.Communicate any maintenance or equipment problems observed to the appropriate personnel.Adhere to safety policies and complete all assigned projects and duties.Start up sheet lines and clean grinders under lock-out/tag-out procedures.Utilize idle time effectively by cleaning, inquiring, and assisting others.Understand and contribute to the impact of your role on the ISO-9000 policy.

Essential Skills

1-2 years of experience with extrusion machines.Ability to troubleshoot machinery effectively.Proficiency in machine operation.Familiarity with reading blueprints and using calipers.Strong inspection skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Any sort of manufacturing experience is beneficial.A willingness to learn new skills and strong job tenure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
