External Corrosion (EC) Implementation Coordinator (Senior PE)- Oil and Gas operator- WA
This is an asset-integrated team responsible for delivering brownfields construction activities across multiple onshore facilities. The team manages large contract workforces from various organisations and maintains a strong focus on safe, high-quality, and efficient execution.
This position is responsible for the frontend delivery of the External Corrosion and Inspection program. It combines asset integrity governance with oversight of end-to-end delivery for inspection and refurbishment scopes, including project management, HSE and quality assurance, as well as cost and schedule control.
Duties & Responsibilities: Lead and participate in field leadership activities including pre-starts and compliance audits. Attend and contribute to HAZID and constructability reviews to identify hazards and ensure mitigation measures are in place. Ensure MoC governance is followed, with all changes meeting safety and regulatory standards. Align project priorities with asset requirements. Manage static inspection, fabric maintenance, and external corrosion programs, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory obligations. Develop scopes of work for contractors and oversee delivery. Audit EP & IC contractors to ensure safe and compliant execution. Monitor project activities to meet schedule, budget, and quality standards. Oversee inspection and refurbishment tools and systems. Manage financial commitments and SAP workflows in line with governance. Engage the team in front-end activities such as scope reviews, HAZID, and constructability to support capability development. Mentor team members in contractor management, performance evaluation, and communication. Govern inspection and engineering outcomes to meet regulatory, corrosion, and refurbishment requirements. Manage contractor performance to ensure delivery against schedule, budget, and quality. Provide backfill coverage for Frontend and Site roles to maintain project continuity and resolve issues.Skills & Experience: Skilled in project systems and processes including Orbit Completions, IMConnect, JIRA (MoC, RFIs, Site Instructions, Scope Changes), and SAP CMMS Skilled in completions and commissioning processes Skilled in maintenance and project management practices including HSEQ, planning, costing, materials, risk, contracting, and resourcing Skilled in facility equipment functionality, systems, and design Knowledge of facility equipment, corrosion management, inspection, and fabric maintenance processes Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and effectively organise and prioritise work Strong understanding of contractor and resource management principles Excellent communication, relationship building, and decision-making skills Over 10 years’ experience with a strong focus on project delivery
