Leads Outreach team and develops strategic planning efforts and oversees program(s) directed by the Office of Secretary of State. Provides professional-level support to the Office of Secretary of State under limited supervision and serves as a public representative for the Office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES : + Develops and directs the Georgia Address Confidentiality Program. + Develops training materials and curriculum for victim advocates to best assist potential program participants. + Remains available to victim advocates and program participants for questions. + Manages the mail for the program participants, including receiving mail, removing mail that does not comply with the program, and resending mail to the confidential address. + Collaborates with the elections division to ensure compliance with the VoteSafe program and the address confidentiality program for judges in the State of Georgia. + Collaborates with stakeholders including relevant state agencies and interest groups. + Hire and manage seasonal interns. + Directs the Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking (GBAT) program. + Answers questions for current and potential participants in the Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking Program. + Packages and mails new participant packets to businesses as they join the program. + Maintains the Georgia Businesses Against Trafficking website. + Coordinates and attends various events on behalf of the Office including conferences, and other meetings as directed to promote the GBAT and VoteSafe initiatives. + Provides agency related information to the general public. + Establishes and maintains a positive working relationship with business communities, internal and external agency customers, and other related contacts. + Plans and coordinates travel to conferences, meetings, and other special events. + Supervises and plans work of assigned staff. + Performs other related duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES : + Ability to lead and motivate a team to accomplish set goals. + Ability to work in a dynamic work environment. + Self-motivated, punctual, and efficient worker. + Ability to develop tasks, set and accomplish goals, and meet deadlines. + Ability to make presentations to audiences. + Ability to craft speech outlines and key talking points targeted to diverse audiences. + Skills related to Microsoft communications products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel. + Knowledge of public relations theories and practices . + Advanced organizational skills. SUPERVISION REQUIREMENT : Supervise Seasonal Interns. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS : + T hree (3) years of area specific experience in a professional environment. + Advanced competencies in supporting administrative functions at an executive level. + Experience in building and managing programs with measurable KPIs.
