BASIC PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:

Support the needs of product lines across the Danaher Diagnostics Platform,  Danaher Life Sciences Platform and Danaher Biology Technology Platform through developing regional (Provincial/ Municipal) pricing and reimbursement policy monitor and assessments, develop GA strategies, implementation plans and response for execution result.Lead the related projects and track progress while coordinating with marketing, sales and business leaders of the product lines, aiming to maximize market access as well as minimize product impacts by government policy changes.Develop and maintain professional relations with local government officials in Pricing, Reimbursement and Healthcare authorities, and their related functions and professional associations.Responsible for other government relations’ issues in Jiangsu, Shandong and part of Shanghai.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The incumbent will also be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:

Maintain and develop effective communications with local government agencies to develop good advocacy plan, understand local policy movement and trends to support company’s biz decision and establish a good corporate image;Initiate or participate in pricing & reimbursement projects by cooperate with university, academy and professional association;Follow up on reimbursement, health, and price-related policies in a timely manner; analyze the impact of policies; respond to the company's demands; and promote scientific decision-making by government departments; Keep abreast of trends in assigned provincial health charge/payment policies and health care policies, as well as interpret and analyze opportunities and risks for product lines;Ensure products succeed in market by obtaining the optimal prices for products and minimizing the price risks for in-marketing products in the responsible regions.Participate in the formulation of the medical charge/payment policy working goals (transparent procurement, package charge/payment policy, payment ceiling, etc.) for each product line, and implement these goals; Well understand and analyze OPCOs’ expectations and needs in tendering, pricing and reimbursement; establish close working relationships with the OPCOs’ partners and provide professional consulting to OPCOs.Work with the OPCOs to develop and define pricing and reimbursement priorities, drive strategies and recommendations for tendering, pricing and reimbursement activities.Provides regional Healthcare Policy Insight Issue in written by monthlyOther HE&GA related work assigned by department head

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferable major in biochemistry, medicine, or related life sciences, and/or public health and economics, marketingAbility to do policy research and product impact assessment independently, and communicate effectively by verbal and written in fluent Mandarin, English skill preferred> 5 years of related work experience with at least 3 years in government affairs.
