We’re looking for a field-based Exterior Installation Technician in the construction and exterior renovation industry.
Our client is a fast-growing company specializing in exterior restoration and renovation projects. Known for their commitment to quality, client service, and strong team culture, they are looking to add an experienced technician to their Calgary-based operations. The Exterior Installation Technician will be responsible for handling small exterior repairs, conducting quality assurance checks, and representing the company in client-facing walkthroughs.
Exterior Installation Technician responsibilities:
Conduct deficiency walkthroughs with clients near project completion Perform small repairs on roofing, siding, and soft metal components Support scope reviews and assist clients with color selection during claim assessments Collaborate with project coordinators, installation managers, and clients to resolve repair or claim concerns Perform material matching and siding validation to ensure quality standards are met Coordinate with suppliers to secure materials for small repairs or fixes Provide professional, courteous service during all client interactions Document site conditions and complete required reporting accurately Support quality assurance initiatives and escalate significant concerns to operations leadership Follow safety protocols, including working at heights Assist with other duties as assigned by managementThe successful candidate has:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with exterior construction or restoration repairs Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, and soft metal systems Valid fall protection certification and comfort working at heights Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong customer-service focus with the ability to work independently in the field Proficiency with basic computer tools; willingness to learn CRM or service platforms Familiarity with systems such as XactAnalysis considered an assetCompensation and benefits:
