You will join the experienced delivery team working in the development, deployment and support of a Modernisation of Maritime Electronic Warfare (MMEW) system to the ADF consisting of complex hardware and software solutions. **Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications:** + Experience designing electrical cabling for rack units and cabinets, including grouping signals, selecting cable type and connectors, and designing cable routes is essential. + Drafting electrical interconnect and wire drawings for manufacture using AutoCAD Electrical (or similar) is essential. + Ability to work in a multidisciplined team environment with system, mechanical and specialty engineers is essential. + Experience making prototype / test cables using military connectors is desirable. + Experience designing electrical systems such as interlocks, fan controllers, and indicators is desirable. + Ability to take on the role of leading electrical design and integration work is desirable. + Excellent written and oral communications skills essential. + Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering, including the use of modelling tools (e.g. Cameo) is desirable + Experience in a Defence related industry is desirable. + Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance up to NV -1 - eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva Don’t miss the opportunity to build your career in a world class team and help build the defence systems that keep Australia safe.
