MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

This position is a functional role that includes shipping and receiving tasks to ensure all shipments are received and/or shipped in a timely manner and per requirements. This position may also include Warehousing & Inventory tasks if applicable.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.Pick order, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.Ensure proper routing of materials is maintained while transporting the materials between departments.Enter data into a database or other computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.Retrieve stored information to respond to enquiries (for example on stock transfer, inventory levels or delivery schedules).Perform other routine clerical activities according to the organization’s established procedures.These activities may include updating stock cards and inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

High School Diploma / GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experience

Experience/Background

Minimum 1 year1 - 3 years’ experience preferred.Strong written and oral communication skills.Strong attention to detail.Basic computer skills are required.Able to work in a fast paced environment.Able to work overtime as the business requires to include Holidays and weekends.Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.General proficiencies in Microsoft Office and SAP desired.Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.

 

The base pay for this position is $19.15 – $38.35 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
