Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Export Control Analyst (Data & Finance Analyst) to join our team in Cuautitlan Izcalli, Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with export control regulations while conducting data and financial analysis to support our international trade operations.

Analyze export transactions to ensure compliance with international trade laws and regulationsConduct thorough reviews of product classifications, licensing requirements, and end-user screeningsPerform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential compliance risks in export activitiesPrepare financial reports and forecasts related to export operationsDevelop and maintain databases to track export control information and compliance metricsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and improve export control processesStay up-to-date with changes in export control regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholdersAssist in internal audits and prepare documentation for external auditsProvide training and guidance to staff on export control compliance matters

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field3-5 years of experience in export control or related fieldStrong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, particularly those related to export complianceProficiency in data analysis and financial reportingAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with statistical analysis softwareExperience with database management and maintaining compliance recordsExcellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficientlyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentCertified Export Specialist (CES) certification preferredFluency in English required; Spanish language skills highly desirable
