As an Export Compliance Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of operations by responding to classification and related inquiries from various departments such as Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain. Your extensive knowledge of the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule will be vital in classifying our parts accurately.
ResponsibilitiesRespond to classification and related inquiries from departments including Logistics, Customer Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain.Utilize extensive knowledge of the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule to classify parts.Address inquiries from Customs Brokers regarding classifications, countries of origin, and Customs values.Ensure compliance with import and export regulations.Essential SkillsProficiency in the classification of the US Harmonized Tariff Schedule.Experience in compliance with import and export regulations.Minimum of 2 years experience as a logistics compliance analyst.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Foreign Trade Zones.Custom entry review experience.Customs compliance experience.Work EnvironmentThis position is based onsite at our aerospace headquarters located in Carson. The role involves working in a dynamic environment where adherence to compliance and regulatory standards is crucial.
