OUR TEAM

Our Explosive Ordnance Services team enables the Australian Defence Force through storage, distribution, maintenance and disposal of these systems, all across Australia. As a turnkey solution, we offer the opportunity to gain a holistic understanding of our business operations, creating huge opportunities for professional growth. Many of our team started in this role and are now in leadership.

In this role, you'll be responsible for a range of activities including explosive ordnance storage, distribution and maintenance at one of our Tier 1 or Tier 2 depots within our five nationally distributed regions.

YOUR ROLE

Perform storage, distribution, and maintenance tasks for explosive ordnance and general stores

Operate systems for stock control, issuing and receipting, inventory management, and documentation

Coordinate packaging and shipment of stores (domestic and international) including dangerous and sensitive goods

Participate in vehicle storage and maintenance, including driving various military and heavy vehicles

Carry out item inspections, maintenance preparations, and certification processes

Contribute to regular project-based warehouse activities such as stocktakes and reorganisations

Assist with operating mechanical handling equipment, forklifts, cranes, and winches

Ensure strict compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental procedures

YOUR EXPERIENCE

Certificate II in Warehousing Operations or similar (Option to study while employed)

Exposure to dangerous goods handling or explosive storage operations

Previous employment in Defence or Defence industry would be advantageous

Licence to operate heavy rigid (HR) vehicles and forklifts (or willingness to obtain)
