Job DescriptionProject Context
Within the tranS/4ming projects, HC/BDO-PDM is responsible for ensuring high-quality Product Master Data (PMD) is available in the new S/4 system. This is achieved by staffing PMD workstream leads, implementing PMD maintenance workflows in MDG-M, and preparing product master data through scoping and cleansing activities.
The goal is to ensure business process requirements are fulfilled and to enable a smooth and reliable data migration to S/4HANA.
The PMD team involved in tranS/4ming consists of 6 internal employees and 3 BGSW employees, working in a cross-functional and international setup.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze Product Master Data using reports and data quality tools to identify issues that may impact business processes and migration targets;
Proactively contact and align with business responsible stakeholders regarding identified data quality issues;
Drive and support the resolution of data quality issues in close cooperation with business responsibles and HC/ECM teams;
Monitor progress of data quality improvements, ensure timely follow-up, and escalate risks when required;
Act as a data quality expert within the PMD workstream, ensuring adherence to data governance and quality standards;
Support coordination and alignment activities across stakeholders involved in the tranS/4ming projects.
QualificationsDegree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a comparable field;
Solid experience in data quality management, master data support, or related support activities;
Excellent communication skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset;
Strong presentation, coordination, and stakeholder management skills;
Strong team player with an open mindset for change and fast-moving environments;
Experience in agile project management and PM tools such as Atlassian, Jira, and Confluence;
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams in an international environment;
Willingness to travel occasionally (approximately 10%).
