Who We Are

Boston Consulting Group partners with leaders in business and society to tackle their most important challenges and capture their greatest opportunities. BCG was the pioneer in business strategy when it was founded in 1963. Today, we help clients with total transformation-inspiring complex change, enabling organizations to grow, building competitive advantage, and driving bottom-line impact.

To succeed, organizations must blend digital and human capabilities. Our diverse, global teams bring deep industry and functional expertise and a range of perspectives to spark change. BCG delivers solutions through leading-edge management consulting along with technology and design, corporate and digital ventures—and business purpose. We work in a uniquely collaborative model across the firm and throughout all levels of the client organization, generating results that allow our clients to thrive.

Shape High-Impact Transformations

At Boston Consulting Group (BCG), our Transform practice helps companies navigate their most critical moments: holistic transformation, large-scale value creation programs, turnarounds, and Tech-Led business transformations. We partner with CEOs, CFOs, boards, and executive teams to design and execute programs that truly move the needle on performance and resilience.

We are now seeking an Expert Consultant (ECT) to join our Transform team in Copenhagen, with a particular focus on value acceleration, performance improvement, and cost and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone with a strong finance and consulting background who wants to be deeply embedded in transformation programs—working closely with C-level leaders from initial diagnostic through full implementation.

Practice Area – BCG Transform

BCG’s Transform practice (founded in the Nordics) focuses on end-to-end business transformations, value creation, performance improvement, and Tech-Led business transformations. We help clients:

Stabilize performance and protect value in challenging environments

Design and execute comprehensive performance improvement and cost programs

Accelerate value creation under tight timelines and high stakes

Deliver tangible impact on top-line growth, margin, cash, and resilience

Our work sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, operations, technology, and organization. Projects often combine performance improvement, value acceleration, turnaround, Tech-Led transformation, and transformation management.

The Nordic Transform team is in strong growth mode, with a core team of 25 people in Copenhagen and 100 across the Nordics, and plays a central role in many of the region’s most important transformations.

Practice Area

Business Transformation is essential to adapt to ever-changing conditions—even for companies that are already dominating their markets. It’s a big challenge, but BCG’s business transformation consultants can help clients put the odds in their favor. BCG helps companies orchestrate an effective business transformation and turnaround when all signs point to the need for fast, focused action and when companies are grappling with an urgent need to change amid great disruption. We deliver immediate impact to each client’s bottom line, cash flow, and top-line growth—all while concentrating on what the client must do to sustain successful change far into the future. In addition, our special situation services help companies focus on managing their liquidity and capital. The goal? To strengthen their balance sheets, boost cash flows, and transition out of survival mode.

What You'll Do

As an Expert Consultant, you will be part of BCG’s Transform practice, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional BCG teams to design, lead, and implement high-impact transformation programs.

Design, build, and run transformation and value-creation PMOs, ensuring discipline, transparency, and accountability across complex programs

Work side by side with client teams over longer periods (often 6–18+ months), helping them move from strategy and design to execution and sustained impact

Use your finance and consulting toolkit to connect P&L, balance sheet, and operational levers into coherent transformation roadmaps

Contribute to the build-up of BCG Transform in the Nordics, including knowledge development, practice building, and people development

As an Expert Consultant, you are a specialist and thought partner and you will:

Go deep in your area of strength (finance / performance improvement / turnaround) and act as a go-to advisor

Shape BCG’s intellectual property and methodologies within transformation, performance acceleration, and Tech-Led transformation

Play a key role in steering and de-risking transformation programs while maintaining a hands-on focus on execution and results
