WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In our Customs EMEA team, you build up knowledge and analyse new laws, regulations and agreements for your respective region.

 

Your role involves monitoring and assessing EU regulations and drafting proposals, while evaluating their impact on BASF.You identify companies that need to register under the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) regulations and initiate the necessary CBAM certificates and registrations.You are responsible for developing and implementing CBAM strategies for BASF that align with organizational goals.The CBAM community is overseen and managed by you, with engagement taking place at the operational, service and corporate levels, as well as with national companies.Additionally, you provide CBAM guidance for operational divisions and BASF legal entities across the EU27.Furthermore, you develop concepts and the corresponding IT tools by optimizing processes, coordinating tasks with IT and modernising the relevant IT systems, all the while supporting departments and management with professional SDU consultation services.WHAT YOU OFFER bachelor’s or master’s degree in commerce, logistics, taxation or a comparable field of studyseveral years of professional experience in Supply Chaina solid knowledge of international business transactionsstrong communication and presentation skills in both English and German, along with consulting expertiseWHAT WE OFFER Gross annual salary (full-time): 65.000 € - 69.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus of 18% of your gross annual salary, depending on the success of the company and individual performance30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical optionsModern sustainable office building in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg with flexible working options, rooftop terrace and cafeteria for innovative and team-focused collaboration – get to know our locationLocation-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in Germany – here a first impression Flexible working hours so that you can organize your working and private life according to your needsSubsidy for public transport, personal employee benefit card and other discountsHOW TO REACH US Maximilian Mette (Talent Acquisition), maximilian.mette@basf.com, Tel.:+49 30 2005 56084 will be happy to answer your questions for this position.
