Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Structures Workplace Coach to join our team in San Antonio, TX.

In this role, you will be critical in the effort to reduce rework, improve first time quality, promote safety and initiate process improvement across all Aircraft Programs at the San Antonio site. Your aircraft and structural expertise will be instrumental in building a strong versatile work force that will bolster production.

Position Responsibilities:

Learn and develop employees in all structural-based aircraft skillsExperience with major structural aircraft modifications and able to articulate, teach, and coach detailed operationsLead and coach employees on detailed structural operations, testing, referencing, and all the associated process specifications.Demonstrate/coach how to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modification/repairReport out to Site and Senior LeadershipAble to work with minimal oversight and deliver positive results, while adhering to all Safety and FOD Pro’s and Processes.Strong interpersonal skills in a teaching/coaching environment

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience with modification experience at an airline or an MRO.10+ years of experience with aircraft fuselage or wing structures assembly, maintenance or repair10+ years of experience as a team leader with strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills10+ years of experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprintsAbility to work variable shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Experience as a General MechanicAbility to deliver information verbally in one on one or group settingsAbility to learn and teach multiple platforms3+ years of experience with QMS systems to assist in root cause corrective actions for any quality defects

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Starting Pay Range: $79,050 - $93,000
