The Boeing Order Management and Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Agent (Level 3 or 4).  This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services BGS Supply Chain – Global Parts Solution.  This position will support our Spares Order Management team. The Order Management team creates and develops request for proposals based on a set of requirements, solicits the supply base for compliant proposals, negotiates acquisition costs and ensures on time delivery of complex parts. This team is also responsible for order placement, adjustments and cancellations as required to support the business in Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills.Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required.Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.Spares pricing and lead-time negotiations.Collaboration with other internal teams to gain process efficiencies and meet the needs of our internal and external customer’s requirements.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

More than 6 years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes. More than 6 years of experience in Negotiations.More than 6 years of experience working in a fast paced environment with strict deadlines.Able to travel 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):

Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred.Experience leading supplier terms & conditions and price negotiations.Experience negotiating price and schedule with suppliers.Experience using SAP software.

Typical Education/Experience: 

Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: Level 3: $72,000 - $102,000

Level 4: $90,000 - $128,000
