**Experienced MIG Welder for Manufacturing Job** **Job Description** As a Welder in our fabrication shop, you will be responsible for creating metal pieces such as stars and railings. Your role will involve moving materials, measuring, cutting, grinding, fitting, and welding, all while using various tools to align and fit parts to specifications. Safety and teamwork are top priorities in our industrial fabrication setting. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in welding techniques including MIG welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and measurements (1/16", 1/8", 1/4", 1/2"). + Experience in using hand and power tools, including hand torches. + Preferred experience in an industrial setting. + Ability to confidently use a tape measure. + Experience with fitting and fabrication. **Responsibilities** + Move and prepare materials for welding. + Measure, cut, and grind metal components. + Fit and weld metal pieces according to specifications. + Use a variety of tools including hand tools, saws, and plasma cutters. + Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication. **Work Environment** Work in a structural steel fabrication shop that creates architectural components such as stairs and railings. 3:00pm to 11:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 10% differential for the 2nd shift. **Apply today and a recruiter will reach out to you !** **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
