Golden Peanut in Comyn, TX (Procurement Division)  is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech that is reliable and wants to build a lasting career.
This is a full-time, hourly W2 position.


Schedule: 7:00am until released. Typically 3:30pm. Will work overtime, weekends, and be on call as needed.
Pay: $20.00 to $30.00 an hour depending on experience
Job ResponsibilitiesConducts job tasks with a positive, safe attitude and maintain a safe work record.Maintains a good attendance recordRespond to requests to address and diagnose operation mechanical problems where equipment is not operating correctlyDisassemble, repair, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical equipment in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specificationsPerform regular inspections of production equipment and performing preventive maintenance dutiesCollaborate with management and other colleagues in decisions concerning maintenance problems regarding equipmentFabricate parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasksWeld parts for use in maintenance and/or electrical tasksPerform semi-skilled to unskilled labor duties related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of various equipmentProvide on-call coverageResponsible for ensuring work area is kept cleanOrder and inventory parts, equipment and/or tools as assigned by supervisorJob purpose is to minimize unscheduled losses and improve reliabilityMaintains good housekeeping and completes sanitation duties and paperwork as required.Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or annual inspections, reporting any problems noted.Willing to be trained to work various jobs within the facilityMaintain documentation required to perform job dutiesOther responsibilities and tasks as assigned by management

Be able to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment and will need welding and fabrication experience. The ability to work above ground level on grated flooring and climb stairs/ladders
