Job Description

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs. This role requires a solid understanding of mechanical systems, the ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in maintenance, a willingness to learn, and the capability to work both independently and as part of a team to ensure the reliability and safety of aerospace assets.

ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain production/manufacturing equipment.Inspect equipment for proper functioning and perform all levels of preventative maintenance duties, per manufacturer's specifications.Diagnose basic and some complex equipment malfunctions and make repairs or adjustments efficiently.Interpret and follow written instructions, sketches, schedules, drawings, and documents.Perform all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.Train others in multiple areas and on a variety of skills.Collaborate effectively with others to identify, schedule, and plan repairs, maintenance activities, and project work.Manage work performed to ensure compliance with company safety and quality requirements.Work under limited oversight.Source parts for repair and preventative maintenance of equipment.Utilize CMMS software.Essential Skills2-5 years industrial maintenance experience required.Experience in troubleshooting CNC equipment, hydraulic presses, vacuum furnaces, X-rays, lasers, and PLCs/Electrical.Knowledge of shop math and precision measuring equipment.High School Diploma or equivalent GED required.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred experience with forklifts and moving large equipment.General knowledge of codes and regulations related to equipment and facilities preferred.Why Work Here?

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Kent, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $64792.00 - $92976.00/yr.

Comprehensive coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental, vision, voluntary optional life, accident insurance, hospital indemnity insurance and critical illness insurance with competitive premium cost.
401(k) Plan with company matching contributions at 100% of the first 5% of pay.
Company provided defined-contribution retirement plan with annual contribution equal to 3% of pay.
