In this dynamic environment, we are searching for an Experienced Environmental Professional (Senior Associate level) to join our team in Athens. 

Make a real impact 

Draft and support environmental analysis, climate risk assessments (CRA) and climate resilience analysisPrepare high-quality technical reports, presentations, and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder engagementConduct thorough environmental, health & safety (EHS) due diligence assessments for transactions, project developments, and operationsPrepare detailed due diligence reports, outlining findings, risk assessments, and recommendationsUtilize ArcGIS for spatial data analysis to support environmental analysis. Evaluate site conditions through desktop research, document reviews, site visits, and stakeholder interviewsReview relevant documentation, permits, and regulatory compliance records. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability and climate considerations into project design and deliveryStay updated on environmental regulations, climate policies, emerging technologies and up-to-date best practices. Deliver work to exceptional standards and review outputs from others, ensuring clarity and precision in reportingManage client relationships confidently and professionally, ensuring needs are met with excellence

What you bring matters 

BSc or Master’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related fieldAt least four (4) years of client-facing experience leading and delivering work in the field of environmental consulting and sustainabilityIn-depth knowledge of the existing national and European legal frameworks for environmental protection and management, Health and Safety, as well as the environmental standards and requirements of international organizations and financial institutions (e.g., World Bank, EBRD, IFC)Proven expertise in preparing environmental studies and reports for infrastructure projects and plans (e.g., Environmental Impact Assessments, Strategic Environmental Assessments, Environmental Management and Environmental and Social Monitoring Plans/Systems, Ecological Impact Assessments)Experience of conducting a range of EHS Due Diligence assessment activities (i.e. DNSH assessment and Sustainability Proofing)Knowledge of EN ISO 14001, 45001, 9001 Management System standards and certification processesFamiliarity with EU Taxonomy regulation will be considered an asset. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret environmental data and translate findings into actionable recommendationsExcellent report writing, verbal and presentation skills in Greek and English and able to review the work of others to ensure qualityStrong knowledge of GIS, or other geographic data and environmental visualization platforms/toolsStrong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and deliver work to high standardsExcellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with demonstrated experience managing and analysing large data sets
