We are seeking Experienced Cooks to join our culinary team in Montréal, Canada. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to menu development.
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and quality standardsCollaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient food production and timely serviceMaintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulationsAssist in menu planning and recipe development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and culinary trendsOperate and maintain kitchen equipment, ensuring proper use and cleanlinessManage food inventory and minimize wasteTrain and mentor junior kitchen staffAdapt to fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyCommunicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operationsQualifications3-5 years of professional cooking experience in a restaurant or similar settingStrong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and presentationProficiency in operating various kitchen equipment and toolsExcellent time management and multitasking abilitiesTeam player with strong communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressureKnowledge of various cuisines and cooking stylesUnderstanding of dietary restrictions and food allergensCulinary degree or diploma preferredCurrent Food Safety Certification requiredFlexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededPhysical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsBilingual in English and French preferred, given the job location in MontréalAdditional InformationWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
