You will analyse potential vulnerabilities, develop strategies to mitigate risks, and confirm compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, you will conduct security audits and provide recommendations for enhancing the overall security posture.

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills.
As part of the Cybersecurity team you support the development of innovative security solutions that protect our clients. As an Associate you engage in hands-on projects, contributing to the creation and tuning of detections, while building your technical skills in Google SecOps SIEM and SOAR technologies. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals, enhance your problem-solving abilities, and make a meaningful impact in the cybersecurity landscape.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing custom parsers for log ingestion
- Support troubleshooting efforts for log sources
- Contribute to the creation and tuning of detection rules
- Help build and maintain automation playbooks
- Participate in integrating applications with Google SecOps
- Collaborate with team members on security projects
- Engage in continuous learning of SIEM and SOAR technologies
- Support the overall security operations initiatives
What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience in Google SecOps SIEM and SOAR technologies
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Python programming
- Security architecture and tool integration
- Log ingestion and detection development
- Automation and playbook creation
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR solutions
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid environments
- Understanding of threat intelligence and hunting
- Familiarity with MITRE framework
- Experience with generative AI in security
