What you will be doing as a Flight Mechanic – AP:
In this role, you can expect to prepare multi-engine aircraft mechanically for flight tests and customer delivery. You'll also have the opportunity to expand your skill set and career growth by performing a variety of essential functions. Join us and be a crucial part of our dynamic aviation team
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
Install Assemble: Install line shortage items, disassemble and reassemble components as neededSystem Checks: Perform functional checks on mechanical systems like engines, flight controls, fuel, oxygen, and hydraulics, making necessary adjustments for flightInstrument Engine Testing: Set instruments, test run engines, rig and synchronize throttles, and set stopsFlight Test Support: Address flight test and inspection issues, making necessary adjustments or correctionsAssist Guide: Assist senior mechanics with complex problems, guide and instruct lower classification mechanicsAircraft Taxiing: Taxi aircraft to check systems and components using various mechanic hand tools and equipmentWhat you need to be successful:
A high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification is requiredAn AP license is required3 years experience in diversified jet, turboprop or piston mod, phase inspection, engine troubleshooting experience or servicing under the guidance of a licensed AP or at an FAA certified repair station is requiredA knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components is neededEquivalent trades training for use of arithmetic, blueprints, specifications, check lists, measuring instruments, testing devices, and following general instructions is neededAbility to work in somewhat disagreeable work conditions due to exposure to noise, weather, hydraulic fluid, MEK, alcohol and other liquids is neededWhy join us?
