Experience Design Program Manager
**Job Requisition ID #** 25WD91230 **Position Overview** The Senior Design Program Manager role involves planning, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of design initiatives. The P3 role requires strategic planning, managing budgets and financial aspects of projects, mentoring junior project managers and coordinators, communicating project status and risks to stakeholders, and identifying and mitigating project risks and dependencies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering design projects on time and within budget, experience with design thinking and human-centered design processes, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Senior Design Program Manager (P3) is responsible for leading and managing design projects and programs within the Growth Experience Technology (GET) Experience Design (XD) team. The Senior DPM will identify, design, and operationalize systems, tools, and processes and be a highly effective and adaptable project manager and collaborator to ensure that teams are healthy, efficient, and delivering design initiatives. This role will report to the Chief of Staff and Design Operations Lead and be dotted line to the Director of Design for New Buying Experiences. **Responsibilities** + Lead and manage design projects and programs from inception to completion + Establish design program management systems, workflows to efficiently scale best practices using existing tool set + Help design and ensure the effective implementation of standardized design and delivery processes including project tracking, ceremonies, and communications + Partner with Design team and leadership to create project plans, schedules, track milestones and deliverables + Ensure effective coordination and allocation of design resources, including designers, researchers, and developers + Monitor project and program progress and address issues as they arise + Help identify and communicate project status and risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders + Ensure design projects are alignment with organizational goals and priorities + Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure project success + Design, organize, and facilitate effective program management meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and action items **Minimum Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Design, Business, or a related field + 5+ years of experience in design program management / design operations + Excellent project management, communication and interpersonal skills + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams + Experience with design thinking and human-centered design processes + Proven track record of delivering design projects on time and within budget + Experience working in a matrixed UX organization + Proficiency in Airtable, Miro, Figma and other relevant project management and design tools preferred **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $96,300 and $166,100. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
