What You'll Do

As an Experience Design Manager, you will design, optimize, and evolve digital experiences across CRM, CRO, and product environments—primarily focused on the Introduction and Growth stages of the product lifecycle. This hybrid role blends UX/UI product design, conversion rate optimization, and CRM campaign execution, creating scalable, high-performance experiences that align with business goals, user needs, and behavioral data. You’ll work with BCG consultants, BCG X growth teams, CRM specialists, and developers to deliver user-centric, testable, and measurable design across touchpoints like emails, landing pages, onboarding flows, and dashboards. You’ll balance strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, contributing both design leadership and tactical experimentation in a fast-paced, global, and collaborative environment.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

UX Assessment & Heuristic AnalysisAudit and optimize existing user experiences using heuristic evaluation and user behavior data.Performance-Driven ExperienceDesign Design cross-channel experiences (emails, landing pages, product flows) using data to drive engagement and conversion.CRM Journey & Campaign DesignDesign for multi-step CRM journeys across email platforms, with attention to personalization, segmentation, and lifecycle logic.MVP Demo PrototypingRapidly design and prototype minimum viable product (MVP) concepts or demo experiences to support early-stage validation, stakeholder alignment, and user testing. Use interactive tools to simulate product functionality, business logic, and core UX flows.Front-End Collaboration & HandoffDeliver pixel-perfect specs and work closely with developers for seamless implementation.Data-Driven Optimization & ExperimentationUse A/B testing, heatmaps, interviews, and analytics tools to inform iterative design improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Create and optimize digital experiences that align with both business objectives and user needs—especially in growth-stage products and services.Lead the design of user journeys, prototypes, and final visual UI across landing pages, emails, apps, dashboards, and campaign flows.Conduct heuristic evaluations and analytics reviews to identify drop-off points and opportunity areas for improvement.Translate CRO hypotheses into testable designs and track performance through analytics platforms like GA4 or alike.Design CRM journeys and campaign assets aligned with lifecycle stages, segmentation, and personalization strategies.Present findings, concepts, and recommendations to stakeholders with clear storytelling and rationale.Collaborate with marketing, development, product, and analytics teams to create cohesive experiences that scale.Balance short-term iterations (tests, MVPs) with longer-term scalability and design system governance.

What You'll Bring

7+ years of experience in UX/UI design, CRO, and/or digital experience design in a product or agency environmentProven ability to improve conversion, reduce friction, and increase engagement through designExperience with CRM platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Adobe Experience Cloud, etc.Deep knowledge of user-centered design principles, funnel optimization, and customer lifecycle frameworksStrong capability in Figma, Adobe XD, or similar tools, including component libraries and responsive systemsExperience working with data and experimentation tools (e.g., A/B testing, heatmaps, session recordings)Strong portfolio showcasing cross-channel digital experiences, experimentation, and measurable impact

Nice to Have (SFMC Technical Skills)

Hands-on experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content BuilderProficiency in AMPscript and HTML/CSS for responsive and personalized email designFamiliarity with SQL, SSJS, and data extension managementExperience integrating SFMC with APIs and managing data workflowsEmail QA/testing experience across clients and devicesUnderstanding of compliance best practices and accessibility in email design

In the US, we have a compensation transparency approach.

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

The base salary range for this role in Atlantais $93,000-$117,000.

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 16% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.
