Experience & Activations Strategist

**Introduction**
The Experience & Activations team is essential in shaping the client & partner experience. In line with IBM's go -to-market strategy, we build and deploy activations that progress clients into discussions for priority products and showcase our value in the current market. Activations and their client journeys are scaled across global events, Innovation Studios, Think and Think on Tour - all managed, optimized, and enabled by our team. An Experience & Activations strategist is able to collaborate across departments and manage stakeholders, while having a strong point-of-view to drive innovative and creative ways to introduce clients to IBM's value propositions in line with client demands.
**Your role and responsibilities**
* Aligns client experience to IBM's to go-to-market strategy.
* Gathers key value propositions, audience, and objectives.
* Connects & collaborates across product, brand, content teams.
* Kick off and oversee end to end development of new projects.
* Helps progress event attendees through the intended journey.
* Measures, gathers, and reports the qualitative and quantitative metrics and performance for continued optimization of our work and processes.
* Ensures best use of event content, such as activations, demos, client & partner stories, etc.
**Required technical and professional expertise**
* Project Management: Demonstrate strong project management skills, consistently meeting deadlines and ensuring seamless event execution.
* Problem Solver: Exhibit proactive listening skills to anticipate needs and proactively address potential issues based on expertise and experience.
* Team Collaboration and Ownership: Collaborate effectively within teams, taking ownership and demonstrating accountability for event outcomes.
* Impact Measurement: Utilise systems and tools to capture the qualitative and quantitative measures of the attendee experience, and optimise appropriately to enhance effectiveness.
* Industry Insights and Innovation: Stay abreast of trends, best practices, and emerging concepts in B2B event management, focusing on areas such as environmental sustainability, inclusivity, and the integration of AI.
