**What you will accomplish in this role**
The Expanse Training Manager is a working manager who is responsible for oversight of the education team colleagues. This manager is responsible for colleague onboarding, remedial and ongoing education needs, ensuring competency training and completion, and education delivery as needed. This manager will provide program leadership, direction, and oversight for their direct reports. This manager will work closely with the corporate Expanse team and other members of the education delivery team.
Due to the focus on Corporate team education and training, this leader requires an in-depth understanding of Expanse functionality; its capabilities, limitations, and impact on clinical practice. In addition, this position also requires a detailed understanding of clinician & provider workflow, and all of the coordination that takes place throughout a facility in order to support various workflows. This individual requires an understanding of adult learning strategies and awareness of strategic training delivery models. This individual will be responsible for designing and overseeing a hands-on remote training model for their team members responsible for delivering Expanse education and go live support in the facilities. They will play a key role in mentoring a team of Implementation resources comprised of Digital Transformation & Innovation staff, contractors, and Field Sourced support team members. Additionally, this team member may be asked to provide training as needed to support the program initiatives.
Major Responsibilities:
+ Responsible for staffing the team by identifying needs, interviewing and making hiring decisions
+ Create and oversee execution of onboarding plan and coordinate Expanse hands on training for new trainers and contract staff utilizing established resources
+ Manage the new hire mentorship program for Expanse trainers in collaboration with peers
+ Create and oversee execution of training plan and competency process for existing trainers as they expand their competency completion utilizing established resources
+ Manage the schedule for trainers to deliver and support Expanse classroom and provider training.
+ Ensure all members of training and support team have completed Expanse competencies in accordance with department standards
+ Collaborate with Field Sourced Program Coordinator to create and deliver on Field Sourced training and competency strategy
+ Manage and provide program direction for training team supporting Expanse go lives in collaboration with vendor partners
+ Participate in all hands meetings with all team members to ensure comprehensive understanding of needs, expectations and requirements
+ Collaborate with other leadership team members, stakeholders, ITG, and other team members to ensure new and additional functionality and service lines are included in Expanse team training
+ Set priorities for team tasks and activities
+ Educates trainers on updates to training scripts and resources
+ Develop & deliver clinician training for trainers and collaborate with vendors and internal resources to manage the delivery of training and education material courses
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of training strategies and materials and implement changes
Qualifications you will need:
+ Bachelor's Degree required, but Master's Degree preferred
+ 5+ years of experience in education or training delivery required
+ EMR or other Go-Live support experience required
+ Education and Training delivery experience required
+ Clinical experience preferred
+ Ability to travel, work remotely in a home office environment, or in a facility required
+ This role will require 76%+ travel
