Responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service with an excellent chairside mannerBe conscious of the doctor's schedule and assist with efficient patient workflowAssist office and doctor in maintaining patient records and informed consent documentsAssist dentist in utilizing proper four-handed dentistry techniques, observing universal precautionsMaintain patient comfort before, during, and after dental proceduresChart existing dentistry and current conditions in a computerized dental chartCapture diagnostic digital radiographs as ordered by the dentistTake impressions and assist with lab tasks as neededMaintain dental operatories keeping them organized and clean, assuring appropriate instruments and supplies are availableSterilize instruments, handpieces, and ancillary equipmentComply with office policies and proceduresAssume the standard of care related to infection control; all OSHA guidelines & safety are upheld at the station they are assignedRequirements:2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant1+ year(s) of experience as an EDDAActive CPR-BLS requiredXray Certification requiredCertified Dental Assistant preferredDenticon software experience is a plus
