**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Registered Nurse** **- Infusion** SHIFT: FT Days M-F/8hr shifts Monday – Friday (0700-1530) **No weekends! No holidays! No on-call!** Join our team of experienced infusion nurses! **Responsibilities:** Perform patient assessments, including medical history, current health condition, and treatment goals. Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy. Maintain IV lines, ports, and PICC lines. Administer IV medications, fluids, injections, and blood transfusions. Administer therapeutic treatments and monitor patient response following guidelines and protocols. Educate patients and families about their treatment, including possible side effects. Work closely with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a safe patient outcome. Basic knowledge of insurance authorization and appointment scheduling. **What you will need:** + A current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York + Registered Nurses must possess the ability to assess, plan, direct, intervene and evaluate patient care + The RN must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and written + MINIMUM of 1 year of RN experience + BLS Required. ACLS preferred. **Pay Range:** $36.50-$49.95hr Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
