Your success is our success\. **Description** **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Responsible for the assembly of complete prototype and production aircrafts, and test articles by installing a variety of sheetmetal and/or machined assemblies for new or modified articles according to engineering instructions\. * Responsible for proper assembly and installation of major aircraft components to meet engineering objectives and schedules\. Assist with analyzing, interpreting, and proving engineering assembly/installation drawings, and specifications for production use\. * Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to\. * Familiar with the proper use of assembly tooling and fixtures, as well as various precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, scales, and all types of gages\. * May build shop\-aids, jigs and fixtures for Experimental projects\. * Responsible for own work\. * Performs other related duties as required\. * Managing and maintaining Velocity data\. * Must be able to perform their daily tasks with little to no leadership guidance in accordance to engineering drawings or preliminary drawings where considerable judgement and ingenuity is required to complete work assignments\. * Responsible to act as a liaison cross\-functionally and between leaders\. * Responsible for FO prevention in all articles and aircrafts that they are assigned to\. * Shows the ability to work well with Management, Shop Leads, other Experimental team members\. * Performs other related duties as required\. * Must be approachable\. * Can deal with Ambiguity\. * Must be Action Oriented * Cares about Team members * Shows Conflict Management * Is strongly Customer Focused * Strong Ethics and Values * Exhibits Integrity and Trust * Strong Interpersonal Savvy skills * Strong Organization skills * Exhibits Patience * Strong Peer Relationships **Qualifications** **EDUCATION:** * High School education or equivalent is required * Requires the use of advanced shop math, complex blueprints and specifications, some measuring instruments\.
