JOB SUMMARY:

Position will prepare parts and assemblies for bonding process.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Work from specifications, blueprints, oral and written instructions to record pertinent adhesive information, form and layup component parts and assemblies.

· Ensure all assemblies are proper relationship according to standard shop practices where tooling and holding fixtures are usually available.

· Uses care to avoid contamination of surfaces from foreign substances such as dust or release agents.

· Applies various adhesives to bond component parts together. Clamps and secures parts in holding fixtures and tools.

· Uses hand tools and some measuring instruments such as drill, thermo-gun, file, scissors, knife, and scale.

· Responsible for own work.

EDUCATION:

· High School education or equivalent is required

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in composite layup or other directly related experience preferred
