Description
ICF is seeking an individual who will provide strong program management support onsite at the Department of Energy (DOE), working on preparedness, response, and related efforts, particularly for the exercise program. The ideal candidate will already be familiar with emergency management and exercises as well as stakeholder engagement. This is expected to be a hybrid position.
Work will include developing energy sector-focused emergency preparedness and response exercises working with a variety of energy sector stakeholders, analyzing the exercises, and providing lessons learned used to revise and improve programs, policies, plans and procedures. Work may include travelling to workshops, exercises, and meetings. Selected training support may be requested.
Key Responsibilities:
Tracking multiple exercises throughout their life cycle and reporting potential issues and suggested resolutions to clients
Preparing briefings and reports
Creating, editing, and reviewing documents (e.g., briefs, summaries)
Conducting research on exercise-related topics
Conducting after action meetings for exercises to inform and validate conclusions
Supporting associated training
Working closely with government clients and collaborating with industry and other partners
Working effectively with other parts of the organization and other agencies to accomplish tasks
Basic Qualifications:
10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in exercises and emergency management
Additional Qualifications:
Strong project management experience and skills
Infrastructure security knowledge, including cybersecurity standards and frameworks
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong research skills
Consulting experience on government contracts
Ability to effectively manage several assignments simultaneously; organizes tasks and effectively prioritizes work
Demonstrated experience working on teams to achieve shared goals
Advanced experience with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Skills/Experience:
15+ years of experience, with 5+ years of experience working with critical sectors
Master’s degree in relevant field
Experience working with DOE or DHS
PMP certification
Active clearance

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$97,699.00 - $166,088.00DC Client Office (DC88)
