Physical Therapy Orthopedic and Neurologic Occupational Therapy Back to Life Fitness programResponsibilitiesThe Exercise Physiologist implements and supervises physical exercise programs for patientsmiddot Provides patient testing and assessment before and after rehabilitationmiddot Plans and teaches exercise therapy for patients utilizing test data patient status and currentmedication regimen Monitors patients response and revises plan accordinglymiddot Recognizes contraindications and abnormal patient responses to exercise Responds appropriately to allsituations including exercise cessation and referral to medical professionalsmiddot Provides exercise information for patients peers and the community which may include public speakingand education classesmiddot Collaborates with physician regarding the exercise prescription for each patient Maintains in depthknowledge of monitoring and arrhythmia identificationmiddot Preparation of report on individual patient to appropriate physician Appropriately charts progress inMedical Records Maintains appropriate documentation of patient caremiddot Develops and maintains in depth knowledge of the departmental equipment Maintains
