**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **E** **xercise Physiologist Samaritan Hospital – Albany Memorial Campus** **Full Time Mon-Fri, 7:00am-3:30pm** **Position Highlights:** + **Quality of Life:** Where career opportunities and quality of life converge + **Advancement:** Strong orientation program, generous tuition allowance and career development **What you will do:** Provide direct patient care to individuals participating in the CardioPulmonary Rehab and Wellness programs at both Albany and Troy locations. **Responsibilities** : + Participate in the development of individualized treatment plans. + Provide patient education + Develop and lead exercise classes + Assist patients with equipment and ensure safety + Assess and reassess patient to achieve both program and personal goals **What you will need** : + Minimum of a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology, exercise science, or kinesiology. + Preferred certification by the American Society of Exercise Physiologists. + ACSM-EP, ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist + ACSM-CEP, ACSM Clinical Exercise Physiologist + BLS, ACLS, and EKG interpretation certification required within 1 year of hire. + Fun personality and strong desire to motivate others. + Previous rehab experience preferred Pay Range: $24.00 - $30.85 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
