Executive - Supplier Delivery Leader
**Job Description Summary** Manages a Delivery team which is responsible for part Delivery to support output rate, Demand translation and Production readiness, taking into consideration efficient inventory management for Work-in-Process (WIP) and Capacity constraints. **Job Description** **Essential Responsibilities:** This role is aligned to the RPCA Part Family, including supporting input material for RPCA Make/Buy(Indirect) Shops as well as managing finished goods material from RPCA Buy shops, and will facilitate supplier problem solving for the space. This person will also own process transformation and execution within the space to improve process efficiency and streamline problem solving to meet rate. + Define and improve Sourcing Delivery strategies and processes for the RPCA team. + Will primarily focus on direct impact to the CTB and Inventory KPIs within RPCA. + Drive supplier readiness process to ensure demonstrated supply capability to meet mid/long term demand. + Support Rough Cut Capacity Plan process ensuring people, machine, and material capability at lead time + Assess supplier demand allocation to ensure balance of supply continuity and lead time optimization + Accountable to create, train, support, and improve delivery & inventory management processes. + Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within both delivery functions as well as process improvement and standard work. + Will lead functional team and will be integrated with planning, quality and commercial functions to manage delivery, S&OP integration, management through challenges to support rate + Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. + Work is subject to functional policy objectives. + Regularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. + Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required. + Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems that impact the function. + Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. + Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision. **Qualification & Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college. + Minimum 10 years of experience in materials, production planning, or business management. **Desired Characteristic** + Master’s degree in business, manufacturing, or engineering from an accredited university + Uncompromising Safety and Quality first mindset + Demonstrated ability to operate and deliver year over year Safety, Quality, Delivery, & Cost (SQDC) improvements in a recognized a lean management system in a manufacturing environment + Demonstrated ability to set and manage competing priorities to drive key deliverables in a fast paced & dynamic environment. Facilitate cross functional collaboration. + Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and production control. + Demonstrated ability to connect across the matrix organization and leverage resources within the broader business. Clearly and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders. + Demonstrated problem solving skills – both executing and in coaching others. + Ability to lead and influence in a matrix organization. + Strong oral and written communication skills. + Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills through the use of GE leadership behaviors + LEAN transformation experience / successful application of FLIGHT DECK. + Influence skills within GEA and Suppliers - from Senior Executive to front line leaders. _This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
