The Executive Sales Director, Clinical Oncology is the front-line sales leader responsible for execution of the commercial strategy for profitable growth for specialized oncology sales and service representatives.The successful candidate will manage a team of ~10-12 Clinical Oncology Account Managers.  The Clinical Oncology Account Management team is responsible for existing clinical outpatient oncology business and upselling oncology business in the outpatient community oncology setting, community oncology, health system outpatient oncology centers, and academic cancer centers.   The ESD The ESD is responsible for retention, upsell and growth in large specialty outpatient oncology physician practices (community, health system, and academic).  This role will work collaboratively with leaders of precision oncology and hospital account executives.   

The Executive Sales Director will be managing a geography that encompasses several states in the Southwest, Southeast and Lower Midwest geographies. The Texas market is a significant focal point, and the Executive Sales Director must be located in Texas.

Qualifications:

ABachelor’sdegree is required.  An advanced degree/MBA is preferred

A minimum of five years of healthcare sales leadership experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years of experience selling and or leading a team in precision oncology, molecular oncology, hematopathology or molecular genetics experience.

Strategic account or national account management experience required

Demonstratedknowledgeof complex business to business salesprocesses and pipelining

Experience leading teams selling into large multi-site accounts

New product launch experience required

Demonstratedsuccessoperatinginacollaborativematrixedorganization

Abilityto lead, coach and develop a high performing salesteam
