Executive Protection Specialist
**Job Summary and Responsibilities** **Job Summary / Purpose** The incumbent is primarily responsible for the safe and secure transportation of CommonSpirit Health’s Chief Executive Officer on a daily basis. The Executive Protection Specialist Driver is also responsible for performing security services as needed, including but not limited to: vehicle safety inspection, emergency response, pre-trip planning, route selection, site security surveys, pick up and/or drop off visitors/individuals at requested locations, and a variety of other tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction for CommonSpirit Health’s Chief Executive Officer, Board Members and Executives. In addition, the Executive Driver/Protection Specialist will perform other security duties when not providing services for the Chief Executive Officer. + The primary responsibility is to provide safe and secure transportation for the Chief Executive Officer. + Safeguard and maintain confidential, and sensitive information. + Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate and resolve conflict + Maintain communication with the Director, and the SVP/Chief of Security and Safety regarding all aspects of protection operation processes + Collaborate with other Security team members to ensure the timely exchange of information regarding the CEO’s schedules, threats, travel and administrative requirements when needed + Travel domestically if needed + Provide Emergency first aid if needed + Operate the security vehicle in a safe and legal manner + The security vehicle is clean, gassed up at all times. Vehicle maintenance service, and safety recalls are handled in a timely manner + Conduct ongoing threat, risk and vulnerability assessments prior to off site business travels/meetings + Conduct site advances, and surveys prior to off site business meetings/travel (only if applicable) + Make sure vehicle equipment is kept organized and updated. **Job Requirements** **Required Education** + **Associate degree required. Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and/or law enforcement preferred. However, experience may be substituted for degree** **Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training** + Experience working with C-Suite Leaders. + Five (5) years security, military or law enforcement experience, one (1) of which must have been in an Executive Protection position, and driving preferred. + Ability to work nights, and weekends as required + Availability for limited travel, nights, weekends, and holidays + Participate in training throughout their employment. **Required Licensure and Certifications** + Valid State Driver License + Clean driving record + Emergency First Aid, CPR, and AED training preferred, or obtained 30 after hire. + Concealed Weapons Permit (CCW) preferred, or able to obtain one within 60 days of hire if needed. **Where You'll Work** Inspired by faith.
