**Job Description:**
We are recruiting for the best talent for Executive Protection Specialist to join our Global Security team located in New Brunswick, NJ.
Reporting to the Director, Executive Security Services, the Executive Protection Specialist will be responsible for protecting and transporting senior leadership and designated protectees as directed .
Key Responsibilities
+ Effectively plan and conduct threat-based, all-hazards executive protection operations to mitigate risk to protectees
+ Securely transport protectees in accordance with Executive Security Services protocols
+ Work in conjunction with Johnson & Johnson’s multi-disciplined Global Security team
+ Conduct advance security surveys of venues and events prior to protectee participation
+ Conduct domestic and international protective operations
+ Communicate with protectees regarding safety, security, and logistics
+ Maintain strict confidentiality regarding protectees’ personal and private information
+ Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about scheduling information/updates as appropriate
+ Oversee the condition of vehicles and equipment used for executive protection operations
+ Adhere to Johnson & Johnson and Executive Security Services policies, guidelines, and procedures
Qualifications
Education:
+ Required: Bachelor’s degree
+ Preferred: Graduate Degree in related field
Experience and Skills:
Required:
+ A minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience.
+ Available to work extended hours and irregular shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays
+ Reside in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania)
+ Knowledgeable of New York City, Philadelphia, Newark, Trenton, and Tri-State area airports
+ Successful completion of established executive protection course and advanced driver training
+ Physically capable of responding to critical situations
+ Vision: At least 20/40 acuity in each eye (with/without correction) and 70° peripheral vision in each eye.
+ Hearing: Ability to hear a " forced whisper " from 5 feet away, with or without a hearing aid.
+ Participate in an annual physical exam and Safety-sensitive random drug screening
+ Successfully pass standard company criminal background check
+ HR218 Compliant
+ Basic Microsoft Office computer skills
+ Certifications in CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid
+ Excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred:
+ 3 years of executive protection experience
+ Problem-solving skills to manage dynamic situations
+ Certified EMT-B, NREMT-P
Other:
+ Language requirements – English
+ Travel percentage – 20% domestic
+ Must possess a valid state driver’s license with a safe driving record

**The anticipated base pay range for this position is :**
$52,500.00 - $84,525.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
