The Executive Protection Specialist is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of IU Health senior executives.  Provides close-quarters protection, conducts advance planning, site assessments, route planning, venue security assessments, and monitors potential threats.

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.Requires 5-7 years of relevant experience.    Previous experience in executive or dignitary protection or a similar field is required. Must be an Indiana law enforcement officer or have the ability to attain Indiana certification.Certification from DSS, USSS, state police, or other accredited course is required.Training and certifications for site advance, threat assessment, and advanced training is preferred.Requires discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to security operations.
