Job Summary
As a part of the Consumer Banking Finance team in Bangalore, which forms part of the Consumer & Community Bank Finance within Global Finance & Business Management India, you partner across the firm to provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight, and coordination of budgeting and forecasting processes. You will lead and support a wide range of activities, including financial control, forecasting, and budgeting, as well as analysis of key financial and business metrics.
Job Responsibilities
Functionally Adept in understanding Fee changes, rate changes – experience in deposit businesses in a banking environment a strong plus. Managing annual/continual financial planning activities for product areas, providing business rational and decisions for all month-end financial performance and forecasting, conducting reviews and analysis on product financial performance, consumption/demand planning, budgeting, billing, trends, and exception reportsDevelop recommendations effecting business procedures and operations and maintain financial and reporting systems.Efficiency reporting, analytics, and strategy - including, but not limited to - location strategy, span of control, reporting and analyticsCreating financial business cases supporting business initiativesReporting on and monitoring key metrics, driving data quality initiatives across the product area, and helping define future needs of the product areaDeveloping and tracking performance metrics, creating presentations, and generally providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior managementHelping design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior managementEnhancing controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possiblePrepare insightful, high quality Senior Management presentationsPrepare analytical insights by partner reportsPrepare Customer and Account Penetration Metrics including attrition related analysisLead and collaborate on revenue related regulatory impact analysis and present to CFOLead Resolution and recovery for Banking and Wealth Management from India and also support on Investor Day related asksSupport ad hoc requests from the Business and Senior ManagementWeekly/Monthly/Quarterly reports as requiredEnsure that reports are insightful and contain commentary on key movements and watch itemsSupport and enable the CFO of Consumer Bank & India Head of Banking and Wealth Management on leadership deliverables
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Chartered Accountant/ CFA/ MBA (Finance) (or similar educational background) with 15+ years of post-qualification experienceBackground in Data Science a strong plus.
