This role will oversee procurement strategies for software, hardware, IT services, SaaS platforms, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity solutions, and emerging technology investments. The position will partner closely with IT, Digital Transformation, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure that technology investments deliver maximum value, support innovation, and maintain compliance. This is a high-impact leadership role within a fast-paced environment, requiring deep procurement expertise, a keen understanding of technology markets, and the ability to drive operational excellence, cost reduction and spend optimization while enabling business growth. **1. Strategic Leadership ~25%** + Develop and execute the technology procurement strategy in alignment with business goals and digital transformation priorities. + Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on technology sourcing trends, market intelligence, and supplier innovations. + Drive adoption of digital procurement tools, automation, and analytics for better decision-making and efficiency. **2. Sourcing & Category Management ~25%** Lead end-to-end procurement for all technology categories: + Enterprise software & licensing + Hardware & network infrastructure + SaaS & cloud services + IT professional services & consulting + Cybersecurity solutions and emerging tech + Marketing technology + Negotiate high-value, complex agreements with global and regional suppliers to secure best-in-class pricing, service levels, and innovation. + Continuously evaluate supplier performance against KPIs for cost, quality, delivery, and innovation in partnership with the IT VMO and IT Finance teams. **3. Supplier Relationship & Partnership Development ~10%** + Build and maintain strategic supplier partnerships to ensure long-term value and innovation. + Conduct regular business reviews with key suppliers to track performance, identify improvement areas, and explore joint innovation opportunities. + Manage vendor risk, including cybersecurity, compliance, and business continuity. **4. Governance, Compliance & Risk Management ~20%** + Ensure all procurement activities comply with corporate policies, legal regulations, and industry standards. + Collaborate with Legal, IT Security, and Finance to manage contractual, privacy, and cybersecurity risks. + Maintain rigorous contract management processes and SAP Ariba content **5. Leadership & Team Development ~10%** + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team with deep technology category expertise. + Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Drive change management to embed procurement best practices across the organization. Participate and contribute as a member of the Global Supplier Management – Indirect Procurement Leadership Team. **Qualifications** **Education & Experience** + Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field (MBA or equivalent preferred). + 12+ years of progressive procurement experience, with at least 7 years in technology category leadership. + Proven experience in a global or large-scale CPG or consumer-facing company strongly preferred. + Track record of negotiating multi-million-dollar complex global technology contracts and managing vendor portfolios. **Skills & Competencies** + Deep knowledge of IT procurement best practices, market trends, and supplier ecosystems. + Strong understanding of cloud technologies, SaaS models, enterprise software licensing, and IT infrastructure. + Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and relationship management skills. + Financial acumen with the ability to analyze total cost of ownership and ROI. + Experience with legal contracts, compliance, and risk management. + Proficiency with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba,) and data analytics platforms. **Leadership Attributes** + Strategic thinker with the ability to both lead and ‘hands on execute’ in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. + Collaborative, diplomatic, and able to influence across all levels of the organization. + Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in sourcing practices. + **This is a New York based role requiring 3 days per week in person attendance at ELC offices in Manhattan and Long Island City.** **Pay Range:** The anticipated base salary range for this position is **$154,000.00** to **$264,000.00** . Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
